On Thursday, September 17, 2020, the District 3 Democratic Club held its third meeting about the upcoming election. The meeting featured more candidates for Board of Education and Community College Board and a proponent speaking in favor of Proposition D (Sheriff Oversight). Supervisor Aaron Peskin and his legislative aide, Lee Hepner, provided an overview and answered attendees’ questions about the local and state ballot measures.

The District 3 Democratic Club will host the third in a series of November election online events on Thursday, September 17 from 5:30 to 6:45 PM. This week’s meeting will feature a discussion of state and local ballot measures with Supervisor Aaron Peskin, Sunny Angulo, Lee Hepner, and Starchild (Libertarian Party), as well as candidate for Board of Education Jenny Lam and Community College Board candidates Anita Martinez, Marie Hurabiell, Shanell Williams, Tom Temprano, and Aliya Chisti.

The District 3 Democratic Club’s first in a series of November 2020 Election meetings took place on August 27, 2020. Featured speakers included Jackie Fielder (candidate for State Senate), Aaron Peskin (District 3 Supervisor), Danny Sauter (candidate for D3 Supervisor), Simone Manginelli for Yes on Prop K (Affordable Housing Authorization), and Starchild (No on Prop K, candidate for State Assembly).
